World Bank Approves Malawi’s FSRP

The World Bank has this week approved the USD250 million (about K260 billion) for Malawi as part of the Food_Systems_Resilience_Program (FSRP) for Eastern and Southern Africa

According to a press statement, the World Bank Group’s Board of Executive Directors has approved USD903 million in International Development Association (IDA) financing for countries including Comoros, Kenya, Somalia and Tanzania, with Malawi getting the USD250 million share.

The African Union Commission, according to the statement, has also been allocated USD13 million.
