Chakwera, Chilima To Lead Malawians Cheering The Flames

President Lazarus Chakwera will watch the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier when the Malawi national football team, the Flames meet Ethiopia at Bingu National Stadium on Sunday.

Statehouse Press Secretary Anthony Kasunda has confirmed.

Meanwhile, the office of the Vice President has also announced that Saulos Chilima  will join President Lazarus Chakwera and the entire soccer loving Malawians at Bingu National Stadium to cheer the national soccer team.

This is the first time for The Flames to play in the Capital since 2019, when Malawi and Morocco left the same venue with a goalless draw.
