Diamond Destiny Gives Women Free Boxing Entry Tickets

An Estate Agency selling plots in the city of Mzuzu , Diamond Destiny Private Limited has pledged to pay for the first 30 women patronizing every boxing match to be held at the Grand Palace Hotel and Squirrels Parks.

The Agency has embarked on this exercise in order to encourage women to patronize the sport as one way of showing appreciation for the support women have demonstrated in buying plots more than men.

Diamond Destiny Private Limited’s northern region branch manager, Gift Nyasulu said women have taken a leading role in buying plots more than men in all the townships they are selling plots hence need to give back.

“Whether boxing matches are held at the Grand Palace Hotel or the Squirrels Park, Diamond Destiny Private Limited will always be there to make sure that the first 30 women enter free,” Nyasulu gave the assurance.

Responding to this development, member of the Malawi Amateur Boxing Association (MABA) Madalitso John Nthaila welcomed the development saying it will increase the number of females patronizing boxing matches in the city which is a morale booster to boxers.

“The bigger the number of women patronizing boxing matches the bigger the crowd following the sport hence motivating our boxers to work even harder,” Nthaila said.

Boxing promoters in the city of Mzuzu clinched a deal with Grand Palace Hotel enabling fights to take place at the magnificent place at the same time providing a conducive family entertainment for all.
