80 Relocated Malawians Repatriated Back Home
The Mozambican government has repatriated back into the country 81 people who went to the Portuguese speaking country to work in the farms.
According to the immigration officials, at least 17 children and 64 adults, have arrived at Dedza border post after being sent back from Mozambique where they were found without proper travel documents.
National Immigration spokesperson, Pasqually Zulu, says all the 81 are coming from:the area of T/A Kachere in Dedza and were going to Mozambican villages to work on farms.
According to Zulu, police in Mozambique have since arrested the driver who carried the 81 Malawians in his vehicle and he will be formerly charged for human trafficking.
