EFAF In Reach-Out And Touch Programme

In a bid to raise Christian values and ensure children from vulnerable households attain education, Education for All Foundation (EFAF) has intensified its efforts in helping currently disadvantaged future leaders to realize their dreams to become desirable citizens.

The need to assist such students from vulnerable households with learning materials like; uniforms, school-bags, books and writing materials was initiated by Maureen Katuma, a Malawian based in Manchester City in the United Kingdom in order to cushion the growing population of learners dropping out of school due to various economic challenges brought about by orphanage mostly emanating from the HIV and AIDS pandemic.

Registered with Ministry of Youth and Sports development, EFAF which is a faith based non-profit making organization whose primary objectives are philanthropic and social well-being have already touched base with many school going aged groups mainly those living in Northern Malawi’s rural hard to reach areas.

Let them realize their dreams – Mwase

EFAF Country Programmes Manager, Zondani Mwase could not hide from disclosure that EFAF is overwhelmed with the growing population of needy students in dire need of humanitarian assistance basing on the localities they are coming from.

“Dreams of Brighter Days, some learners goes back to School most of them raised by helpless single parents almost gave up on school due to failure to pay school fees and other school basic needs, listening to their ambitions some wants to become medical doctors following support from Education for All Foundation,” Mwase said.

To compliment some of its operations, EFAF have managed to secure school material sponsorship with an estate agency, Diamond Destiny Private Limited which has helped to support some learners in Mzuzu urban secondary schools.
