The Rt. Hon Dr Saulos Klaus Chilima Vice president of Malawi

This morning I had the honour of holding discussions with the United Nations (UN) Resident Cordinator for Malawi, Ms Rebecca Adda-Dontoh who paid me a courtesy call at the office.

We had a fruitful meeting touching on UN/Malawi Relations, Public Sector Reforms and MW2063, among other topics of national importance.

I particularly expressed my appreciation to the UN family for the continued support to the Malawi government especially on Public Sector Reforms.

I further recalled the technical and financial support that the UN through UNDP provided to the government of Malawi for us to achieve implementation of National IDs after several years of stagnation.

I also welcomed the Resident Cordinator’s positive reflection of the cordial relations that continue to exist between Malawi and various UN organs operating in the country.
