WCC Bishop Calls For More Community Projects
Bishop Agabas Hebron Mwang’onda of the World Christian Centre (WCC) has made a fresh appeal to all those with a possibility of alleviating human suffering to consider doing so by themselves.
Mwang’onda echoed his remarks made mid last last year in response to numerous reports of some individuals failing to extend charity gifts to the intended beneficiaries.
In an audio clip gone viral on social media platforms Mwang’onda appealed to those assisting the needy to demonstrate and complement their spirit of giving by doing the charity works for themselves.
“God blessed us in different ways, but let us consider visiting the need by ourselves, those trusted to do that for us have been disappointing,” Mwang’onda said.
The WCC Bishop then accused some senior government officials and those in the private sector for wasting a lot of resources on meetings in resorts instead of implementing projects in rural areas for the benefit of the poor masses.
Meanwhile, the WCC founder has constructed a number of bridges in Karonga Songwe Constituency.
