Commonwealth Parliamentary Consultants Engages Leader Of Opposition In Parliament

As one way of consolidating Malawi’s democracy this week  the Commonwealth Parliament Consultants met the leader of Opposition in Parliament Kondwani Nankhumwa in the Capital, Lilongwe.

The delegation which is on a benchmarking exercise in Malawi held discussions with the Leader of Opposition and his delegation, on various parliamentary issues in relation to democracy.

The two sides shared common strategies on how best they could deepen parliamentary democracy in Commonwealth countries.

Nankhumwa was accompanied by members of Parliament ; Raymond Nkhata, Roseby Gadama, Joyce Chitsulo and Fines Magonjwa.
