Honourable Chirwa Organizes Constituency Entertainment Extravaganza

Having returned from this year’s budget meeting in Parliament, the legislator for Mzimba-Luwerezi, Sam Chirwa has organized a mega entertainment extravaganza for his constituents on Sunday.

The soccer, boxing and music parties have been organized to spice up this year’s Honourable Samuel Chirwa Constituency football and Netball league in which Luwerezi United and Angoni stars will battle it out for the top prize having reached the final stage.

Speaking to Malawi Daily Telegraph the youthful parliamentarian says he does not want to leave anyone behind in the Constituency ;hence inviting to Mabilabo Jere’s area some of the renowned musicians and boxers.

“I want to give people of my Constituency a variety in the entertainment worlds more particularly the youths, my message is to encourage those with skills to utilise their potential in realizing their possibilities to earn a living,” Chirwa said.

Popularly known as Chimkwevu among the peers, Chirwa has managed to invite the all time great Malawi’s female boxer, Anita Bashir, the Young Achievers Acrobats and some notable musicians from within the constitiency and far.

The climax of it all will be the greatest moments when Upile Kalole, popularly known as the ‘The Luwerezi Star’ will share the stage with star musicians: Thomas Chibade, Katelele Ching’oma and the versatile, Soul Chembezi.

Apart from presenting the trophies to the successful teams in this year’s Honourable Samuel Chirwa Trophy, the parliamentarian will also give out gifts and cash prizes to teams and individuals who have contributed to the successful completion of the competition.
