Namibian government has confirmed that the country’s third President, Hage Geingob has died in the capital Windhoek at the age of 82.

Namibia’s Vice President, Nangolo Mbumba announced a few hours ago today (Sunday) Geingob’s death.

“By his side was his wife and his dear children,” said Mbumba.

Geingob became president in 2015 and was serving his second term.
