Zikhale Revives North ‘MCP’ Rural Structures

Director of Strategic Planning in the Malawi Congress Party ( MCP) who is also Homeland Security Minister, Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma has disclosed that the party has the potential to grow stronger in building up to next years general election hence reorganising its structures in rural areas.

Zikhale made the disclosure on Saturday in Karonga district during the official handover ceremony of nine cows and bags of rice meant for the victory celebrations of three local government by-elections that took place in the district.

The MCP strategist, stressed that he decided to support the event as a way of thanking the people of Karonga for their love of the party and president Lazarus Chakwera while disclosing that he will be conducting more meetings with people in the remote areas in order to bring back the party to its original setup.

”The party has been having rallies in the urban areas, as such in my capacity as MCP director of strategic planning i will take it back to the rural areas, so that people can fully understand development ideologies which the Chakwera led-government is implementing,” Zikhale said.

Ng’oma together with the North-North Regional Chairman, Kezzie Msukwa and other top party officials visited different areas where crowds gathered for the celebrations.
