Chakwera Delegates Chilima To Tanzania
President Lazarus Chakwera has, for the first time since June 2022, officially delegated his vice, Saulos Chilima, to an international assignment.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chilima is scheduled to travel to Tanzania this Thursday for the African Union 60th Anniversary and will return on Saturday, April 27th, 2024.
Chakwera, had in June, 2022 publicly announced he had stripped off the powers of Chilima over graft allegations.
