Zikhale Welcomes Zimbabwe’s Home Affairs Minister
The Minister of Homeland Security Dr. Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma has commended the cordial diplomatic relationship between Zimbabwe and Malawi.
Zikhale says people of Malawi and Zimbabwe have for a long time benefitted in different ways through the ties and bonds of friendship between the two countries.
Ng’oma made the remarks on Wednesday at Chileka airport in Blantyre when he was welcoming the Zimbabwe’s Minister of Home affairs, Kazembe Kazembe.
According to Ng’oma, the two countries support each other in different areas including matters of security for the benefit of their people.
“The relationship that exists between Malawi and Zimbabwe is phenomenal because the two nations support each other in the times of need.
You must be reminded that Zimbabwe was very supportive when Malawi was hit by devastating effects of cyclone Freddy,” Ng’oma said.
During the visit, Kazembe Kazembe has been accompanied by Deputy commissioner General of Zimbabwe Police Service, Steven Mutamba and other three officials who have come to Malawi for official duties.
Among others, the Zimbabwean government officials will witness the pass out of over 1300 police recruits at kanjeza police training school in Blantyre.
