Malawi Mourns the Loss of Patriotic Legal Practitioner, Raphael Kasambara

President Lazarus Chakwera and First Lady Monica Chakwera have joined the nation in mourning the passing of renowned legal practitioner, Raphael Kasambara.

The President and his wife described Kasambara as a patriotic Malawian who served the country with distinction, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and excellence in the legal profession.

Meanwhile, Patrick Mpaka, President of the Law Commission, echoed the sentiments, stating that Kasambara’s demise is a huge blow to the legal fraternity and academia in Malawi.

“Kasambara’s contributions to the legal field and his impact on the country’s justice system will be deeply missed,” said Mpaka.

Mpaka further stated that throughout his illustrious career, Kasambara was known for his unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law and advocating for justice.

“His expertise and guidance inspired a new generation of legal professionals, and his influence will continue to shape the legal landscape in Malawi,” he added.
