Killy Msukwa, the UTM party’s parliamentary aspiring candidate for Mzuzu Southwest Constituency, has come to the rescue of numerous vulnerable children at Kaviwale Primary School who were at risk of dropping out due to economic hardships.

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) forum brought this issue to Msukwa’s attention, highlighting that some children from extremely poor backgrounds were struggling to meet financial requirements to pay Maneb fees to sit for this year’s Primary School Leaving Certificate examinations.

Msukwa’s generous gesture has ensured that all standard eight learners at the school can now sit for this year’s Maneb examinations.

While he declined to disclose the exact number of children he assisted and the amount spent, citing Christian values and the spirit of sharing, his actions have undoubtedly made a significant impact.

“I simply thank heavens, someone is now able to return to school which is the gift of sharing as taught in our daily Christian life,” said Msukwa.

Kaviwale Primary school Deputy Head teacher Chandiwira Chawinga expressed gratitude towards Msukwa, confirming that he has paid examination fees for all struggling students.

“We are really thankful, this act of kindness is a testament to Msukwa’s commitment to supporting his community, particularly in the realm of education,” said Chawinga.

Msukwa’s philanthropic efforts extend beyond education; he is also an active supporter of sports, notably financing the Mzuzu International Volleyball Tournaments with dedication to giving back to his community being truly commendable.
