“One Youth One Voice” Sets New Heights Of Youth Advancement

A new consortium of young leaders, “One Youth One Voice,” has been launched in Malawi aimed at uniting and empowering the country’s energetic youth in advocating for social, economic, and political change.
This Scotland-registered group aims to foster a culture of active citizenship and promote sustainable development and equity.

According to the group’s patron, Ernest Chirambo, civic education and community engagement are key priority areas for driving socio-economic growth and the youth empowerment agenda.
Chirambo emphasized that young people should not support weak political leaderships that exploit and frustrate them, but instead, work towards realizing their destiny.
The organization plans to achieve its goals through various initiatives, including:
- Leadership Development: Workshops, mentorship programs, and training initiatives to promote self-confidence, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities among young people.
- Youth Leadership Network: Creating a structured network that connects young leaders across Malawi, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Youth Empowerment: Promoting youth empowerment, advocating for their rights, and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship to achieve economic independence.
By launching “One Youth One Voice,” the consortium aims to create a unified and empowered youth-force that can drive positive change in Malawi.
