Wanderers Set to Offload Players After Technical Review

Mighty Wanderers have announced plans to release players from their squad following a comprehensive assessment by their newly appointed technical panel, led by head coach Bob Mpinganjira.

The technical panel’s review and the subsequent squad changes aim to strengthen the team’s competitiveness ahead of the new season.

The club has already made significant signings, including Chancy Mtete, Masiya Manda, Nanisoni Mbewe, Promise Kamwendo, and Blessings Mwalilino.

However, the squad’s final composition for the 2025 season remains uncertain, pending an official announcement.

Wanderers Chief Executive Officer Panganeni Ndovi confirmed that the club will soon reveal its 2025 squad.

“We will make an official announcement regarding the squad soon,” Ndovi stated.

In the meantime, it has been reported that first-choice goalkeeper William Thole will depart the club upon the expiry of his contract on February 23.

Additionally, sources indicate that Balikinho Mwakanyongo and Misheck Botomani have already left the club, although this has not been officially confirmed.

Fans and supporters eagerly await the official announcement regarding the 2025 squad.
