As part of his nationwide initiative to involve the youth in decision-making and development, President Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera met with young people in Mzuzu, Northern Region of Malawi.

This engagement follows similar events in the Central and Southern Regions.

During the meeting, the youth had the opportunity to ask questions and raise concerns about the recent State of the Nation Address (SONA). Key issues discussed included unemployment, health services, and business loan opportunities.

Chakwera’s administration aims to address the concerns at the national level, fulfilling campaign promises to engage the youth in matters of importance and foster a genuine administrative partnership with the young generation.

This initiative is part of the president’s efforts to promote transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in governance, as outlined in his previous SONA speeches.
