Zikhale Urges Chiefs to Drive Development

Member of Parliament for Nkhata-bay South Constituency, Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma, has emphasized the crucial role traditional leaders play in the country’s development, urging them to actively participate in developmental activities.

Zikhale who is the Minister of Mining, acknowledged the significance of traditional leaders in driving development progress.

While addressing chiefs under Traditional Authority Malengamzoma on Sunday, Ng’oma highlighted the Chakwera-led government’s efforts to promote the welfare of traditional leaders nationwide.

In return, T/A Malengamzoma expressed gratitude to Ng’oma for initiating development projects in his area.

“By working together, they can harness their collective expertise and resources to drive progress in Nkhata-bay South Constituency and the country at large,” said Zikhale.

Ng’oma’s call to action underscores the importance of collaboration between traditional leaders and government officials in achieving meaningful development.
