An Indian Jumped Bail

Lilongwe, Malawi: A 57 year old Indian national, Rassigng Narissing Shinde is no where nearer to continue answering charges in a case in which he is accused of raping a five year old daughter of his neighbour at Maoni residential area in the city of Blantyre.

Shinde was expected to appear in court on Tuesday but the lawyer representing him told the court that his client is no where to be found hence his failure to appear in Court.

Charles Miliwadi Mandula who is the accused person’s surety being a coworker of the accused person at Trans-Globe International expressed surprise with his bolting having surrendered all his travel documents to police.

It transpired in court that the accused person was caught red handed by the victims brother bonking the minor in the presence of her six year old sister having molested them with a chapatti.

Despite Shinde’s absence the Court will continue sitting on the matter on Friday.

Meanwhile, Malawi Daily Telegraph has established that Shinde left the country last week through Muloza boarder having obtained another passport through the southern region Immigration office.
