DPP Tussle For Parliamentary Leadership Continue

The application to vacate the Werani Chilenga injunction has been adjourned to Monday next week July, 25 to allow Werani Chilenga and others to respond to the claim that they lied to the Court.

The Judge has also said that MP Kondwani Nankhumwa has no injunction in this case because his application for an injunction was already rejected by Justice Mambulasa in Blantyre.

If the defendants fail to respond by 25 July, it is highly likely that the case will be ruled in favour of the claimant Dr Chaponda who went to court to complain that the KN injunction had lies with unconsulted MPs attached in an oath which brings in criminality on the part of the ones who got the injunction against the appointment of Dr Chaponda as the new DPP Leader of Opposition.
