PAC’s Constructive Criticism: A Step Towards Solving Malawi’s Challenges – Mwakasungula
The Public Affairs Committee (PAC) has been praised for its constructive criticism of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s administration, highlighting national concerns that many Malawians have also been expressing.
While PAC’s remarks may not be ground-breaking, they are an important continuation of the ongoing conversations about addressing the country’s socio-economic challenges.
Governance and Human Roghys advocate, Undule Mwakasungula said PAC’s decision to engage directly with the President demonstrates the value of dialogue and collaboration in addressing national challenges.
“By sharing advice and recommendations, PAC has shown that constructive engagement can lead to positive change,” said Mwakasungula
He further stated that the committee has also acknowledged areas where progress has been made, such as infrastructure development, which enhances the credibility of their observations and recommendations.
“Moving forward, the nation should focus on providing action-oriented suggestions to address challenges, including tackling corruption, improving economic policies, and boosting service delivery,” he added.
Ultimately, PAC’s meeting with the President serves as a reminder of the need for continuous engagement and constructive dialogue to address Malawi’s challenges which by working together can promote unity, hope, and collective commitment to making things better for the nation.
