He Assent To Seven Bills
President Lazarus Chakwera has on friday assented to seven Bills which were recently passed by Parliament.
Among the laws is the Corrupt Practices Act (Amendment) Bill.
Following the assessment to the new legal provision the law now gives the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) powers to prosecute cases without obtaining consent from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
