Government Cautious To Attain A Healthy Population – Chakwera

Government efforts to improve the Health sector are in tandem with the national development agenda, Malawi Vision 2063, which places quality, equitable and affordable healthcare as the backbone of a productive society.

President, Dr Lazarus Macarthy Chakwera made these remarks on Tuesday October 11th, 2022 after commissioning Phalombe District Hospital which according to him provides the people of Phalombe and surrounding areas with convenient access to modern healthcare services.

“My administration, fully conscious of the need for continuity in national projects, will keep on improving healthcare service delivery to Malawians through modern infrastructure and well-trained personnel,” Chakwera said.

He then stressed that his administration will relentlessly invest in the Health sector to attain a healthy population that will consequently transform Malawi.
