UTM Not Aware Of Chilima’s Delegated Duties Restoration

UTM says it does not have any communication on whether the delegated duties have been restored to its president and the country’s vice president, Dr. Saulos Chilima.

The party’s spokesperson, Felix Njawala said this amid Chilima’s involvement in a number of state functions.

Njawala says “the party is just monitoring the situation where Dr. Chilima is seen conducting state duties, months after president Dr. Lazarus Chakwera announced that he has stripped off the delegated duties from his vice almost a year ago”

Chakwera made his decision on Chilima for the latter’s alleged involvement in corrupt activities connected to businessman Zuneth Sattar.
