Mandindi In Double Celebration At Book Launch
One of the patriotic Malawian citizen, Allan Mandindi who at some point has also served in the British Army had a one in a life time surprise on Saturday night when he got global recognition at his book launch in Manchester City in the United Kingdom.
At the climax of his book launch “The Drive to Advance” Phil Moulton who is an expert in Karate and Close Protection with the 9th Dan in Karate majoring in Bushido, former World and European Karate champion in Martial Arts Hall of fame 2022 and author of “The Bodyguard” rose in style to the stage with an award for the humble servant.
Speaking when presenting the award Moulton recognised numerous contributions Mandindi has made both to the British and Malawian communities hence presented him with the honour in Martial arts circles being one of the most loyal karate trainers.
Responding to Moulton and a huge round of applause during one of the best red carpet ceremonies Mandindi could not hide his excitement which was associated with laughter and little tear drops of joy.
“The award allows you to teach or wear a black belt as it gives you the incentive to train more and I am very proud of the dedication that is why I decided to do this for you, well done in everything” Said Phil Moulton
“I really feel honoured to be presented with this great award. I have known Phil for many years and worked for him in my early years in the United Kingdom in the field of close protection and i also attended his martial arts trainings,” Mandindi said.
Mandindi further stated that “Moulton has been a great mentor and inspirational to me. I will cherish and treasure this honour, am sure this will also motivate other young people in my home country Malawi, as a youth I trained and loved Karate.”
Speaking to Malawi Daily Telegraph Online Publications Mandindi said he truly got the honorary award as a surprise to double his reasons for celebrating the Launch of The Drive To Advance.
