Uladi Seeks Legal Redress On His Conviction

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) member and former minister of Homeland Security , Uladi Mussa, who was recently pardoned by the President, Lazarus Chakwera is back in court appealing against his 2020 sentencing in which he was convicted of aiding illegal issuance of passports to foriegn nationals.

Nine Supreme Court Judges including Chief Justice himself, Rizine Mzikamanda are expected to preside over the appeal case at the Lilongwe court registry.

Untill his pardoning, Mussa was serving a jail term of 5 years.
