YAS Accorded ACHPR Observer Status

Mzuzu City, Malawi: The Human rights and governance watchdog, Youth and Society has been granted the observer status by the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights (ACHPR) , African Commission.

In a statement issued by YAS signed by its Executive Director, Charles Kajoloweka states that the Non-governmental Organization observer status is the recognition that among others allow civil society organizations to directly engage the African Commission and access the African Court of Human and People’s Rights (ACHPR)
