Zikhale Returns To Blantyre To Thank Chiefs

Blantyre, Malawi: The Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Director of Strategic Planning who is also the Minister of Homeland Security Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma on Saturday returned to Blantyre to meet Chiefs and thank them for peaceful rallies he conducted in the commercial city last weekend.

Zikhale, popularly known as Nyama Zikulu Zikulu among peers, went back to Chilobwe and Bangwe Townships on Saturday morning where he met Chiefs and Pastors whom he thanked for their support in organising what he described as the best rallies ever for the ruling Party.

During an interaction, Chiefs did not spare words, but to thank His Excellency the state president, Dr Lazarus Macarthy Chakwera for the spirit of respecting community leaders and Pastors in the country.

In his remarks, Chief Chilobwe confidently lamented that such gestures are rare and Dr Lazarous Chakwera is indeed unique and a visionary leader

During the two rallies Zikhale conducted at Nawotcha and Bangwe mammoth gatherings were recorded which symbolises a paradigm shift of support, in favour of MCP leadership spearheaded by Chakwera

The Themes for the two meetings the Homeland Security minister conducted was “Tiyeni Tonse a Malawi, Tigwirane Manja”.
