Banana Box Equips Youths Through Tafika Resource Center’s Education Projects

As one way of preparing youths in readiness for this year’s education curriculum which starts on Monday, 12th September 2023, Mzimba based Tafika youth Organisation has distributed teaching and learning materials to children and schools around it’s project implementation area in Mzimba district.

The resource center remains heavily indebted to thank the Scottish nationals, Trevor and Maureen for sending note books and writing materials and other learning supporting materials through a charitable organization, Banana Box Trust.

The manager for Tafika Resource Centers Shupo Kunwenda hailed Banana Box Trust for the timely assistance which he said is a motivation towards uplifting education standards in schools around Ekwendeni Zone in Mzimba district.

“Today we have managed to give learning materials to pupils in schools under our project implementation area and also our youths who passed this year’s primary and secondary school exams,” said Kumwenda

Kunwenda also made mentioned that Han Jane and the church of Scotland in Geneva have provided solar panels which the learners will be using during night studies at resource centers where the organization has full fledged libraries.

During the just gone by school year, 98 percent of pupils patronizing learning and study programs at Tafika Resource Centers passed their examinations hence encouraging those supporting various programmes to provide more teaching and learning materials.
