265 Energy Limited Hits Market With Affordable Gas Cylinders

265 Energy Limited has renewed its commitment to helping the government promote the use of sustainable renewable energy by making Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) more accessible for the masses to switch to cleaner and greener energy options.

The use of renewable energy is fast being adopted due to the numerous benefits it is connected with, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving air quality, and minimizing dependency on non-renewable sources.

Speaking to journalists in Lilongwe during the unveiling of new liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) accessories on Friday 265 Energy Limited’s Public Relations Officer Phillip White said by offering affordable options the company commits to making it easier for individuals and households to adopt sustainable practices.

“Access to affordable renewable energy solutions is crucial for the long-term development and well-being of communities. It not only contributes to a cleaner environment but also helps to reduce energy costs for individuals and businesses,” White said.

White further stated that by promoting the use of affordable renewable energy, Malawi can decrease its dependence on traditional fossil fuels and improve energy security so a shift will have a positive impact on the country’s overall sustainability and resiliencies in the face of climate change.

Commenting on 265 Energy’s Facebook page Mzuzu-based journalist Allan Chirwa gives Kudos to 265 Energy Limited for its efforts in making sustainable renewable energy more accessible to all Malawians through their affordable 3KG gas cylinders.

“265 Energy Limited is doing a great job, I hope the introduction of 3KG gas cylinders not only encourages more people to embrace renewable energy options but also contributes to a greener future for Malawi,” Chirwa said.

Malawi is one of the least electrified countries with a meagre five (5) percent (%) of the population having access to clean energy sources, only thirteen percent connected to hydro-electricity hence 265 Energy Limited broadening efforts in ensuring that households switch to gas with affordable accessories put on the market.

In fulfilment of Malawi Vision 2063 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Malawi joined the rest of the global village in the use of renewable energy accessories which have numerous benefits, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving air quality, and minimizing dependency on non-renewable sources
