Stop Primitive Politics – Chakwera
His Excellency the State President, Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera has advocated for the type of politics that will develop the country.
The Malawi leader made the remarks in reference to some frustrated failed politicians whom he said are spending sleepless nights trying to create enmity between him and the State vice president, Saulos Klaus Chilima.
Speaking at Chinsapo UNICEF ground in Lilongwe on Wednesday, Chakwera said he has no time to condone primitive politics which creates hatred and envy stating that it is not good for national development.
“Some individuals are busy trying to create hatred between myself and the Vice president, they must know that I practice civilized politics with my ‘servant leadership’ agenda in serving Malawians,” Chakwera said.
He then urged all Malawians to join hands to ensure that the country develops in all spheres of socio-economic endeavours in line with the country’s Agenda 2063 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
