Chaima Banda’s Vision For Inclusive Futuristic MCP
As the count down to the Malawi Congress Party convention has begun, eligible loyal party members have started to outline their vision to drive the party beyond 2025. Malawi Daily Telegraph had the opportunity to get a flavour of what Dr Chris Chaima Banda who is vying for the position of Party Secretary General has in store for the party and it’s grassroots.
Within the first 30 days in office as pragmatic Secretary General of the Mighty Malawi Congress Party, Chris Chaima Banda hopes to work with a visionary committee of seasoned current and veteran leaders.
Banda has all the hope to conduct ‘RESTORATIVE JUSTICE SESSIONS AND RECONCILIATORY MEETINGS’ so that those who competed with each other in various positions at the party convention are fully reconciled.
“MCP will always remain one, competitors will have to shake hands, embrace and hug each other so that we can embark on a collective crusade, facing the same direction together to secure a 70% landslide and decisive victory for our beloved President His Excellency Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera in 2025,” said Banda.
Banda, whose popularity among party delegates to this years MCP convention further stated that at the end of those sessions, there will be no losers: “There will be collective winners and learners,” he added.
Signing out from an interview with this publication, Chris Chaima Banda, a God fearing charismatic leader couldn’t forget asking for the blessings from above to continue uniting all Malawians regardless of creeds, gender, age, tribe, geography, languages and the skin colours.
