People’s Party National Youth Director Resigns
In a surprise twist of events, the National Youth Director for the People’s Party, Ipyana Nthakomwa has resigned from People’s Party (PP) effective immediately.
Nthakomwa, a prominent figure within the party, cited personal reasons for his sudden departure having been an integral part of the party’s youth wing for several years,
He made the announcement during a hastily arranged press conference at the party’s headquarters, expressing his gratitude to the party leadership and members for their support during his tenure but emphasized that it is time for him to pursue other endeavours out of politics.
“I have enjoyed my time serving the People’s Party and working with dedicated young individuals who are passionate about making a difference in our society.
“However, after careful consideration, I have decided to step down from my position to focus on personal and professional commitments.” Nthakomwa said.
His resignation comes at a critical time for PP, as it gears up for upcoming elections and navigate through various political challenges.
Nthakomwa’s departure leaves a void in the party’s leadership, particularly within the youth wing, where he played a pivotal role in mobilizing support and shaping the party’s agenda among young voters.
