London Hosts 7th Political Summit And Awards 2022

The Seventh annual summit aimed at address sustainable political ideologies, ethno-religious values, international political structures, and leadership ethics for citizens governance and societal good will be held on 12th October this year (2022) in London.

The summit comes at a time when there are great extents and rapid increase of international trade, in being the principal guarantee of the peace of the world, is the great permanent security for the uninterrupted progress of the ideas, the institutions, and the character of the human race.

The meeting will also adopt some resolutions that will challenge the boundaries of gender equality  in politics, powers of super driven media streaming and reportage, democratic integrity, post-pandemic restructuring and multilateral relationships in the national and global space

This will include a parliamentary engagement in the House of Parliament and a London Borough Council session at Waltam Forest Council and the Awards Dinner Gala Night

The main advocacy of the London Political Summit is to propagate and advance the need for political order, democratic peace and good governance among developing countries, through dialogue and cooperation.

Following the former Deputy Director-General, Alan Wolff who called for coordinated action on Trade for Peace: “In recent years, the world has been witnessing increasing trends of violent conflicts which have resulted in the biggest displacement crisis ever recorded, rising inequality, discrimination and exclusion. If we do not take coordinated action, all the gains we have made in our fight against poverty can be nullified.”

There has been a long tradition among social scientists to try to understand the economic, political, and social consequences of globalization. It has always been a hotly-debated topic, not merely within academia but among the general public as well, whether globalization significantly affects economic growth, income inequality, and national identity.

A Malawian Trade Unionist based in Manchester City, United Kingdom who is an executive member of the London Political Summit, Allan Mandindi Banda said there is indeed a great need for developing countries like Malawi to attend such meetings where global business captains share links for successful marketing campaigns.

Mandindi revealed that  the Political Summit and Awards 2022 will be attended by His Exellency Udom Gabriel, the state Governor of Akwa Ibom State who has confirmed his presence while appealing to the House of Parliament and all invited guests to arrive in time considering limited space.

“I can’t afford to miss this considering the National policy choices, a strong infrastructure, a strong educational system, political stability, and comprehensive health and social services being factors that go into rankings, the UN’s Human Development Index, Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index, integrity, and anti-corruption indicators, as well as national policy choices, a strong infrastructure, a strong educational system, political stability, and comprehensive health and social services,“ Mandindi said.

Mandindi also reaffirmed need to enhance democratic tendency a dimension of African political character and practices set to reshape the political behavior and moral judgments African leaders and a people’s governance also stating that the summit seeks to reward the African Best Performing Presidents in Power.

The criteria to choose a good President is reflected on the country’s overall success in terms of national growth and development: Character and integrity, crisis management abilities, cautious selections, and the ability to work cooperatively with both his cabinet and the opposition.

The London Political Summit and Awards is a socio-political platform that began in 2016 with the support of key political leaders of thoughts and the academia, it has registered great contribution evolving to the establishment of the Annual Uhuru/Railia African Peace Accord Awards, in honor of the two great sons of African politics, former Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta and his brother, Rt. Hon. Railia Odinga then former Prime Minister of Kenya, whose peace accord initiative in 2018, brought about democratic peace in Kenyan  politics.
