This year’s Raiply National Volleyball Championship has started on a very exciting note with both old and debutants to the national event collecting maximum points.

To the excitement of the Mzuzu City dwellers and surrounding areas the Volleyball Association of Malawi (VAM) has shifted Group-A for men to the Rosedale Court giving a chance to residents of Chasefu, Kaning’ina, Mzilawayingwe, Botanic, Zolozolo and Chiputula to watch the games right on their doorsteps.

In a press release issued on Saturday morning, VAM’s General Secretary, Daniel Mwakasoko commended teams for raising the level of competition in this year’s championship.

“We have managed to start this year’s Raiply National Volleyball Championship with great performances, all ovations for your support and commitment,” reads the release in part.
