Stakeholders happy with Raiply Volleyball championship management
Stakeholders at this year’s Raiply Volleyball championship in Mzuzu have commended Volleyball Association of Malawi (VAM) and their sponsor Raiply Malawi Limited for deploying good management strategies for the tournament.
The close working relationship between the sponsor and the association is said to have brought a clear demonstration of how sporting tournaments should be managed at national level.
Unlike in the recent past when VAM was single handedly managing the tournament some areas which needed special attention were just looked at without proper attention.
On the second day of this year’s tournament staged at Katoto Sports Complex, Rosedale Court and Mzuzu Academy clubs and spectators were full of praise for what have been witnessed coming from the event management team.
Lance Corporal, Crosburg Makondetsa from Kamuzu Barracks commended the tournament organizing team for reaching the highest event management levels in managing this year’s national Volleyball Championship.
“This year’s event is just superb, superseding what we have been witnessing in the past where time management was an issue since those working on the ground were just just two or three guys,” Makondetsa observed.
He also commended the level of competition which he said have greatly improved owing it to the trainings VAM organised in conjunction with the Malawi National Sports Council and Malawi Olympic Committee.
During a press briefing held on Friday in Mxuzu, Raiply’s Publicist Dalitso Chimwala said their company and VAM have been engaging in a series of meetings aimed at improving the management of the sport.
“As a corporate partner we always aim at giving out the best knowing that we work with clients who always demand nothing short of the best, Raiply Malawi Limited will continue engaging VAM in order to achieve what is desired most,” Chimwala said.
Raiply Malawi Limited has been sponsoring volleyball championship at national level for the past 13 years.
