DPP Reinstated Mzomera As Regional Governor

The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has with immediate effect reinstated Reverend Christopher Mzomera Ngwira as it’s Regional Governor for the northern region.

In a letter signed by the party’s Administrative Secretary, Francis Mphepo states that the charges that led to Mzomera’s conviction does not disqualify him from holding any party position.

“In reference to the above, I am pleased to inform you that the party had reinstated you as Regional Governor for the Democratic Progressive Party in the northern region with immediate effect,” reads part of the letter.

Meanwhile, efforts to seek views of the reinstated Regional Governor (Ngwira) proved futile since his phones were out of reach.
