Zikhale Storms Lower-Shire
Homeland Security minister, Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma has assured people in the Lower-Shire that the Malawi Congress Party led government is committed to develop the country regardless of race or religion.

Zikhale said the naming of the two important roads currently under construction in Nsanje and Chikwawa after Gwanda Chakuamba and Siddik Mia is a recognition of the contribution the two great sons of the districts made towards the country s socioeconomic development.

Speaking when he conducted a development rally at Nkombezi in ChikwawaDistrict, Zikhale said the State of the Nation Address (SONA) delivered in Parliament by President Lazarus Chakwera on Friday is a clear testimony of government’s commitment to improve the welfare of people in the Lower-Shire and the country as a whole.

“Naming the two roads after the two great sons of the Lower-Shire is a huge honour to the people in the two districts and recognition of their contribution towards the country’s socioeconomic development, “ said Zikhale.

Zikhale is among the country’s busiest ministers going around inspecting and commissioning newly constructed houses for officers working in the Malawi Police, Immigration and Prison Services.
