Dr Joyce Banda Represent President Chakwera At Her Majesty Queen’s Funeral
Former president, Joyce Banda is in United Kingdom where she is representing the state President, Dr Lazarus Chakwera at her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain’s funeral ceremony.
Upon her arrival in the United Kingdom, Dr Joyce Banda was welcomed by Malawi High Commissioner to the UK H.E Dr Thomas Bisika and his deputy Justice Agnes Patemba.
The Deputy High Commissioner, Justice Agness Patemba said she had the honour to welcome Her Exellency Dr Joyce Banda, Former President of the Republic of Malawi, to the United Kingdom where she will lead the Malawi delegation to the State Funeral of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
She is accompanied by information Minister, Hon Gospel Kazako and Digitisation, and Dr. Janet Banda, SC, Deputy Secretary to the President and Cabinet.
