An excellent performance depicting a true life of what happened in South Africa in 1973 at Robben Island, the top security political prison where Nelson Mandela was held.

Two men, John and Winston are sharing a cell, they survived through a mixture of solidarity, laughter and defiance.

One of the renowned book writers, Allan Mandindi describes ‘The Island‘ as one of the most famous plays of the 20th Century and has now been premiered for theatre enthusiasts all over the world.
